“Oh great, now it’s raining. That’s just the perfect ending to the perfect day.”
A man looked out of his living room window and into the calm darkness of the night. Shadows danced along the streets as the rain played its melancholy song. Looking back into the room, darkness slowly crept up the walls and onto the ceiling as the moon rose higher and higher. Photo frames were found all along the walls. They were pictures of the joyous memories he shared with his wife and daughter. He let out a long sigh.
“I better hurry. She’ll be here soon.”
